Me.dium, idea of sharing

May 24th, 2008 | 2 Comments »

Me.dium.com screenshotMe.dium, as its slogan said “Better than chat. Beyond your news feed. Be together… Anywhere.“, is an idea of sharing that I find it useful. And I think it’s worth sharing.

I am just thinking of learning from and sharing anything to each other in order to extend my knowledge and also have fun together. I am thinking of asking my friends or team members for a little time to share their knowledges to each other, because I think every body has their own talents and experiences. But most of us sometimes don’t have even a little time and are busy doing their works or research or we are not near each other to be able to meet. Therefore, the temptation of doing this has decreased. But I think, from now on, I and other friends or colleagues can share the ideas to each other by looking at what we are doing on the net by using me.dium as a tool. Me.dium can let you see the others’ activities on the net (means which website they are viewing) (only when we are friends in me.dium). You can also chat with each other. So we can share the ideas or knowledge without meeting each other physically, we just need internet connection and me.dium. Me.dium can be downloaded and installed as an extension or add-on of the popular web browsers such Internet explorer 7, Firefox and Flock.

I don’t know if you share my idea or not, or have any thoughts? But if you do, why don’t you give it a try?

Favorite in windows explorer makes you a bit easier

November 30th, 2007 | 4 Comments »

Nested FolderYou may feel frustrated whenever you want to go to a folder/directory, in windows explorer, which is deeply nested. For example, I want to be in folder “sample_folder“. But, this folder is deeply nested like this “D:\A Main Folder \Downloads \Software \Blogging \Other Folder \Another Folder \sample_folder“. This is just a folder. What if you have more than 6 or 7 folders that are similar to this? You may spend the time on this. That’s why Favorite button, in the menu of windows explore, comes in handy. You may think Favorite can be applied to web browser only. Still, we are able to put on windows explore as well.

Add to Favorite

Next time, you can go to this folder through Favorite. Isn’t that easier?

Cambodian people can now have paypal account

November 20th, 2007 | 6 Comments »

PayPalAs a good news for Cambodian people. Recently, Paypal, a global leader in online payment solutions, has accepted Cambodia.

As a fan of paypal, I just wondered why Paypal didn’t offer the Cambodian people to register for an account while the other Asian countries did. I felt it was a bit frustrating. Until now, I always check for the availability of Paypal. What I just want is becoming true. So after that I can do any purchases, such as hiring a web, domain hosting or any other products in most sites with Paypal. Do you want to give it a try?
